Here is some
information about our club, what we do, and how to contact us.
Located in Portland Oregon and tracing its roots back
to 1972, Trailsmen Motorcycle Club is dedicated to supporting Off-Road Motorcycle
activities. Family oriented, we sponsor a large number of Poker Runs. We spend
numerous weekends camping and riding, since
we have some of the best riding anywhere in the country right here in the Pacific
Northwest.
Revenue from our runs is used to buy supplies for
Trail maintenance, support local riders who qualify for the ISDE, and fund our annual
Kids Field Day. (Featured on Oregon Field Guide!)

Most of our events take place in the in
the Oregon Coast Range (Tillamook State Forest or "Tillamook Burn").
Our Poker Runs feature both
"Hard" and "Easy" Courses. The Hard courses typically run 40+ miles
with technically challenging terrain and tight trails. The Easy course is less than 25
miles, mostly fire roads and two tracks. Our Easy course has "Hard" options for
those wanting more challenge but not up to a full Hard course.

Legal requirements for bikes are;
Current ORV sticker
Helmet
USFS approved spark Arrestor
Sound Level below 99 dba
Bikes do NOT have to be street legal in the Tillamook State
Forest, and children are allowed to ride on Forest service roads if accompanied by an
adult.
Trail Maintenance
Each year we spend many weekends building and maintaining
trails in the Tillamook State Forest. Much of the profits from our runs is used to buy
lumber, cinder block, and other material to improve and upgrade the trail system.
Work Parties are usually held the 3rd
Saturday of every month...We are looking for volunteers to come spend the day or
as much time as desired helping the Trailsmen give back to the Tillamook State
Forest and provide great trails for use in the Trailsmen events.
We are always looking for help with these
events and others, so if your interested in putting back to your sport, send an
email to Joe at
t2a@centurytel.net with the subject work parties!!!

"Testing out a new
bridge"
The Trailsmen MC also does liter
patrol along highway 6 as you head towards Tillamook!
Recent ODF policies have reduced the number of events allowed in the Tillamook state
forest.
As a result we have had to cut back on the number of events we can
hold.
Check out the Trailsmen Events Calendar
for a listing of upcoming events.
Each year we also sponsor Kids Field Day, a chance for the Kids
to have fun, learn skills.
The events are
held in a campground parking lot, emphasizing skill, not speed.
Membership
We are always looking for new members to join our club. We
meet alternate Tuesdays at 7:30 PM If you are interested in joining the club or lending a
helping hand give us a call, email or
talk to us at an event.
